Helping individuals, couples and families overcome anxiety, depression, mind-body challenges as well as many other psychological and psychiatric presentations.
Guiding clinicians in how to start and grow successful individual and group psychotherapy practices.
Developing a state-of-the-art mobile application to treat panic disorder.
I have been in clinical practice for over 30 years. I have had over 50,000 hours of direct clinical service and have treated a myriad of psychological and psychiatric presentations. For 28 years, I ran an outpatient psychotherapy group practice with 18 clinicians. My areas of specialization are anxiety and depression, mind-body health, trauma and insight-oriented exploratory therapy.
I am very human in my approach and believe my job is to help you understand yourself from both conscious and unconscious perspectives. With my guidance, we will come to understand what has gotten in your way and how you may learn to grow and move to a higher level of actualization.
I am very direct without being directive and conduct my work with you in a probing but respectful fashion. Within the first few meetings, I will be able to let you know what I believe will be helpful to you. I am solution focused and at the end of our work, you will be able to navigate long lasting positive change.

The ability to know yourself and what makes you “tick” is a very valuable skill. Understanding what is getting in your way is hugely beneficial in charting a healthier course. As a non-judgmental observer and guide, I have a proven track record helping anyone who is not as happy as they feel they should be or want to be.
In my treatment approach I spend the first few meetings listening carefully to your words and ask a lot of questions. At the end of that assessment period I will be able to share with you what I can do to help you.
I believe individuals have a natural drive to achieve their best selves.
Drawing upon extensive experience as a Medical Psychologist, I have addressed a wide spectrum of behavioral medicine disorders. My professional approach recognizes the integral and reciprocal relationship between psychological and physical health. Manifestations of this interplay may include psychological distress manifesting through physiological symptoms, such as headaches, gastrointestinal issues, or cardiac irregularities. Conversely, physical conditions, such as oncological diagnoses, can significantly impact an individual’s psychosocial functioning.
My consultative-liaison expertise enables me to effectively advocate on behalf of my patients with their medical teams, aiming to optimize their treatment outcomes. A frequent challenge encountered is patients’ difficulty in clearly communicating their needs to healthcare providers, which may impede their access to optimal care.
From beginning a group to growing it, to best practices to maximize revenue, over 28 years I have encountered most every question and hurdle in the running of a successful group practice, which I have recently sold. We maintained longevity within the therapists and they felt valued and respected. The practice was the #1 referral site for mental health from physicians, the gatekeepers of patient care and insurance based treatment. MPC was performing 1500 visits a month and we had a 99% collection rate. Come for a consultation and learn what you can do to start or improve on your individual or group practice’s performance.
